Neon Palm Tree

With exception to some astrophotography I've done (maybe), this was one of the toughest photos I have taken. Every setting on the camera had to be right (and I certainly mucked about with all of them!) and I only had 7 minutes during the display to get this. Although not my favourite personally, certainly my best one technically. Even the cathedral looks in ok focus!

For those photo geeks: EOS450D, standard EF-S 18-55mm lens, 30secs exposure, f/16, ISO100 with "long exposure noise reduction" custom setting enabled.

I did take a "bulb" exposure where I used the lens cap as the shutter, holding it over the lens and taking it off. Produced rather a mental image!
